Last month we received a custom request for a product we have never made before. A decorated dog treat. Like those beautiful royal icing sugar cookies but for dogs.

But we all know royal icing isn’t the best thing for dogs to enjoy. At Gabby’s Terrific Treats, we pride we only want to use the healthier and safest ingredients for our furry fans to enjoy. So icing sugar... is out!

But we decided to try to make a dog friendly alternative. Needless to say, there were several failures along the way 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Not one to give up, we finally got a recipe which works beautifully. And is made with safe ingredients, like water, organic yogurt, potato and corn starch. No sugar and gluten free!
