Tomorrow I meet class number five. That’s so crazy to say.

You’d think by now I wouldn’t be nervous. Nope. I’m excited, nervous, and this year, a little sad too..

It’ll be my first ‘first day’ without my dad here to cheer me on, and I’m feeling that one a bit more than I expected.

But tomorrow there’ll be a room full of new faces, names to learn, and a whole new group of students I get to know, teach and learn from for the next year. 💛

So… here we go again.

And obviously I needed first day of school cookies from Iced by Em! I mean… LOOK AT THEM !? 😭😭

💜 Cookies for a Cause! 💜

I’ll be making these beautiful lilac cancer ribbon sugar cookies to help raise money for our Terry Fox Run team! 🏃‍♀️🎗️ the Lilac ribbon represents all cancers.

Each cookie is $5 each with proceeds going toward cancer research in honour of my mom and everyone whose lives have been touched by cancer.

I am going to try making as many as I can and will be posting them here when & where each batch is available! If you’d also like to order a certain amount, send me a message!

Last week I lost my mom. The most beautiful and selfless person I’ve ever known. She was my biggest fan and best friend. Thank you to everyone who reached out to me ❤️ I appreciate the thoughts, prayers and kind words more than you know.
