I am sharing my IFTAR table SHARE with me yours. All these dishes are favorite in Pakistan and must for the Iftar table with a red drink very famous and named as Rooh Afzah.

Egg Salad:
Rocket leaves ,cucumbers,tomatoes, peppers,boiled egg.
Cut the veggies add boiled eggs sprinkle salt ,pepper and lemon. Or
For Dressing you can mix lemon juice honey and some red pepper flakes drizzle and enjoy.

Babaghanoush🍆

Roast a medium sized aurbergine/eggplant on the stovetop using a grill or in an oven under the broiler.
Roast for 10 minutes on each side until skin is toasted.
Let the vegetable rest for 10 minutes and then cut open. Spoon out the cooke flesh and mash.
Add the following ingredients:
Salt to taste
Cayenne pepper 1tsp
1tbsp garlic (i roasted the garlic in the oven and used that)
4tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1tbsp lemon juice
1tsp mixed dried herbs
1tbsp tahini
1tsp sumac
Half a pomegranate to garnish on top and fresh parsley if you have

Serve with warm pitta bread and enjoy!

Dal Halwa :
Our traditional sweet which is everyone’s favorite and almost made in almost all homes with grandmothers recipe.
I tried to make it more simple and easy for everyone who loved this halwa and misses their mothers on a special occasion. So try this easy recipe and you’ll feel at home.
Recipe:
-2 cups of chana dal.
-1 cup sugar
-1 cup powdered milk
-1 cup of desi ghee
-1teaspoon of cardamom powder.
-2 cups of water.
Method:
Soak daal in warm water for an hour ,
In a pressure cooker put daal with 2 cups of water half of the ghee and cardamom powder cook for 15 mts then open the cooker with care after releasing the pressure then with the hand mixer beat the daal to make paste then add sugar , milk powder and remaining ghee and shift this mixture to a wide pot so it will be easy for you then keep on mixing till you see the glaze of ghee on it or it stops sticking and the color turns golden brown.
Your Halwa is ready.
Really easy not to worry don’t make more for the first time start with only two cups and make it easy and enjoy.

Red velvet cake ,all time favorite teatime,birthday’s, wedding.
Ingredients:
-2 eggs
-1 cup all purpose flour levelled
-1 tbsp of coco powder
-1/2 cup white sugar mix 1/4cup brown sugar.
-pinch of salt
-3/4cup of butter
-1 1/2 tbsp of butter milk mix1 tsp of color red.
-1 tsp of vanilla
-1/4 tsp of baking soda(with white vinegar -1 /2tsp) add in the batter when you see the reaction. Bake in the preheated oven for 22 mts and check by inserting the fork slightly.
Cream cheese icing :
-8 ounce cream cheese approximately 1 cup.
-1stick of butter is 1/2 cup.
-1 cup of confectioners sugar ,1 tsp of vanilla. First beat cheese and butter then add sugar beat until smooth. And devorate your cake with icing.
