To all my customers. This page will be removed, and I will no longer be operating as Good Things Custom Comfort Foods. This is not my choice, but apparently someone has lodged a complaint, and at this point it is not worth it for me to pursue this further. Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far. Rainy Days = Comfort Food! Good Things has Split Pea and Ham Soup, Tuscan Italian Sausage and Pasta Soup, Thai Chicken and Coconut Soup, Baked Potato and Bacon Soup... all soups are $6 per litre or $4 for a smaller size. Butter Chicken, Shepherd's Pie or Pasta Primavera... $8 per entree. Or how about Shepherd's Pie stuffed Baked Potatoes topped with Parsley and Havarti Cheese? $2 each. . Also fresh today...Crab Mac and Cheese !

This week is full of "good things" ! New soups on the go....Thai Coconut Chicken, Tortellini and Chicken Soup, or Tuscan Sausage and Bean Soup...all still priced at $6 per litre. As for "comfort foods", how about Shepherd's Pie, or Jumbo Pasta Shells stuffed with chicken, spinach and cheese, or classic Butter Chicken? I also have something new to try...Shepherd's pie stuffed potatoes :) Great as a quick lunch idea! Entrees start at $6. Order now and stock up for the week.

Soups on at Good Things! Creamy Baked Potato and Bacon, Curried Butternut Squash, Turkey with Garden Veggies and Pasta, or spicy Italian Sausage with Pasta. A great way to warm up on a gorgeous sunny cold day! Soups are still $6 for a one litre size, and will be ready on Monday :)

Whew! Deadlines all met, party trays all arranged, chocolate all melted, cookies baked, truffles dipped, tarts filled, fudge sliced, cheesecakes decorated, cupcakes iced, quiches garnished...what a whirlwind December has been.Thank you to everyone who placed orders, passed on a recommendation or just came out to support me. I am looking forward to 2016. It will be a year of new adventures....not sure where this road will take me, but I promise to keep you all updated on the journey! :)

Good Things is very excited to announce that I will have a table set up at the Maple Ridge Christmas Market on Dec 5 in downtown Maple Ridge from 3 pm until 8 pm. This is held in conjunction with the Santa Claus Parade, and is sure to be a fun night out.Lots of vendors, Christmas music, sure to get you into the spirit of the season. I will have Pies, fancy cupcakes, cookies and biscotti..Salted Caramel Brownies, a few jams, pickles, preserves and even specialty dog biscuits for your furry family members! Gift Baskets too! Stop by for a visit!!

This Saturday Good Things has another booth set up, this time at Garibaldi Secondary School's Craft Fair! Lots of new items on the go this time too! Cranberry Apple Rum Sauce, Raspberry Chocolate Sauce, Kiwi Daquari Jam, assorted fudge, cookies, Almond pretzel bark, Pies, cakes, specialty cupcakes, home made and home grown pickles, and of course CHEESECAKE! I also have a new line of healthy dog biscuits for your favorite canine companion. I will try to have some gift baskets on hand as well, or you can custom order one to suit you...and I will have it ready for Christmas. Create a unique gift for someone on your list :) The craft fair is located at 248th ST and Dewdney Trunk Rd in Maple Ridge, Doors are open from 9am to 3. Hope to see you there!

Good Things will have a booth set up at the Maple Ridge Equi-Sport Center during the horse show on November 15th. Last year we just about sold out, and this year I plan to have pies, fudge, cheesecakes, brownies, cookies, and cakes, as well as the addition of specialty breads, preserves, pickles and even Dog Biscuits and Horse Treats! Mark your calendar...we will be in the indoor arena again. I will also have gift baskets available to purchase, or you can custom order one for Christmas!
