Anyone remember me having a small spot at 162 Wortley Rd in Wortley Village?
I was told by the City of London that I could not run a business in that spot because I needed a continuous fire wall. There needed to be a bathroom installed in the pot store ( this is what my $5000 first and last months rent was supposed to pay for) it was not done by the owner of the pot store. There needed to be a separate hvac system on both sides. I could not afford such a huge renovation. The main landlord would not sign off on the renovation to add a bathroom.
Well now my business has closed. I have lost close to 250000 and it looks as though the city thinks it is ok to sell perogies but not pastries.
No permits were taken no fire wall? No hvac?? Who knows!
Wortley Village? Why was my business not allowed? I have emailed the city many times and I get no responce!
I am very unhappy and very broke because of this situation.
Good bye London I wish I understood why I was not good enough!
