appreciation post! The Arva Mill has been in operation for 205 years, making it one of Canada’s oldest businesses. Our bagels are made exclusively with Arva Mills flour. If I don’t have Arva Flour, I’m not making bagels. This flour is a big part of what makes these bagels so tasty. We’re very lucky to have this mill nearby. If you haven’t had a chance to visit them and try their flour please consider supporting this excellent local independent business. And did you know , The White Stripes performed at the Mill back in 2007? Word to the Arva Flour Mill! 🤙🤘

update. Pretty lame ‘stache one week in. I’ve walked 55 /300 Kms so far. Reminder that 20% of all bagel sales this month will be going to Movember as well. Globally, the rate of su***de is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence.

We had a great time in The Yukon and BC! I’m not a great photographer at all, and these fotos don’t do justice to how beautiful it really is out there. If you ever have a chance to tour Yukon and BC with my mom and stepdad in their RV, I highly recommend. Anyways, the bagel shop is open again, get yer orders in, cheers!

Thanks to Barb at the Byron Villager for the sweet write up, and to everyone who ordered bagels! It was a very busy and challenging week but it was a lot of fun. For the first time ever I had all the flavours I make in the same day. The beers are going to taste really good this weekend! Cheers! 🍻
