ed in crumbs is a cause for concern. But knowing all those crumbs are gluten free is such a relief! For many of us, good bread is hard to come by and finding baking means going to the freezer section. I want to offer something better, like bread that you can eat without toasting and fresh baked muffins and cookies for home and on the go. With over 20 years of experience in gluten free baking and cooking, I have helped friends and family adjust to a lifestyle that not only feels better but tastes good doing so.

Read to the end for a fun DF baking tip! A little update: Life has kinda taken over my weekend baking gig, which is why I haven't been around the market lately. I have had to cancel my plan to be at the Dietary Expo this weekend, unfortunately, so the next time you'll see The GF Crumb is at the farmers market on April 18.

But that doesn't mean I haven't been playing around in the kitchen, and that's where I discovered this great DF modification. I had two recipes I wanted to try GF but I didn't have any sour cream or yogurt in the house. Fortunately, I did have my happy sourdough starters handy and wouldn't you know it, the muffins turned out fantastic! If you don't have GF sourdough starter around and you bake regularly, you really ought to try it.

Hey Everyone! This next month is fairly busy for me personally so you won't see as much of The Gluten Free Crumb, unfortunately. I will be at the market this weekend, so come stock up! Watch for me at the Eat Well Dietary Expo on April 11, a great event for anyone navigating dietary restrictions like GF, DF, LF.
