Sometimes we bake up mistakes by accident. That happened this morning with our cinnamon sugar donuts. If you purchased donuts from us this morning we want to refund you your money and apologize! They’ll be back to the way they should be tomorrow!

Today begins our 10th year at Five Girls Baking, which is a little hard to believe. Richard and I are so grateful to everyone who has bought a loaf, shared a post, told a friend or stopped in to see us over the past nine years. Thank you for helping our little bakery reach this milestone—here we go, year 10!

This sounds like fun! Hmmmmm.... Richard and I are 'baking' up some ideas for the bakery (or vegan cooking?)

✨ Something special is coming to Main Street… ✨

On Friday, September 18, Main Street in Liverpool is going to feel a little different.

The street will close. The shops will stay open. Vendors will begin setting up. Restaurants and shops will spill out onto the street. Friends and neighbours will gather. Music, laughter, food, shopping and that wonderful feeling of a community coming together will fill the evening, and then it will be followed by a free movie at the Astor sponsored by the Region. 💛

From 6–9 PM, we’re inviting you to Meet Me on Main — an evening created for wandering, discovering, visiting, eating, shopping and simply enjoying being downtown together.

And this is only the beginning. 😉

There is lots more to share as September gets closer, and we cannot wait to show you what’s taking shape!

So mark the calendar, invite your friends and start making plans…

We've been seeing so many beautiful charcuterie boards around lately, and it got us thinking... our vegan customers deserve one too! 😊

So we've put together a vegan charcuterie box loaded with fresh fruit, crisp veggies, olives, crackers, creamy hummus, nuts, and a selection of delicious plant-based goodies. It's perfect for lunch, a picnic, taking to the beach, or sharing with someone special.

We know finding fun, ready-to-enjoy vegan options isn't always easy, so we thought we'd create something colourful, satisfying, and just plain delicious.
