A big thank you to Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador for hosting yesterday’s Food Photography Workshop at the Gander Airport led by Tom Cochrane Photo. in collaboration with Seasoned NL. It was a great opportunity to learn more about creating high quality food photos using the technology many of us already have.

We even had the chance to put our new skills to the test in the airport lounge with some delicious dishes provided by Union East. Thanks to everyone involved for an informative and enjoyable day!

The coolest things about days like this is not just the amazing information and education you get, but also meeting new people and getting to now watch and support their journeys like our new friends at Feather & Finn BnB in Eastport who was a part of our breakout group 🫶

A big congratulations to our very own Kaylee on graduating from Memorial University this week!

Over the years we’ve had the privilege of watching so many young people grow, chase their goals and accomplish incredible things, and Kaylee is no exception. Between balancing classes, assignments, exams and work at the café, she is full of dedication, determination and a whole lot of hard work 💕 She even took a break from classes one day this fall to volunteer her time at the Ronald McDonald house with us when we went in and cooked for the families. This is an example of the kind and caring person she is. A ray of sunshine and a ball of energy and enthusiasm for anything! We are so lucky to have Kaylee as part of our crew!

We are so proud of everything you have achieved and can’t wait to see where your next chapter takes you Kaylee. Thank you for being such an important part of our Kinden’s family and for letting us be a small part of your journey.

Biscotti is definitely one of my favourite things to make… and I know everyone knows my dad was a baker, but this is actually my Mommas recipe so she gets all the credit for these treats!

These ones are ready to go back into the oven for their second bake and are loaded with partridgeberries and chocolate… the perfect side snack to any of your favourite hot Kinden’s drinks!

Who’s watching the game tonight?! 👀

We usually steer clear of chatting anything too controversial down here at Kinden’s… because around here hockey loyalties can divide a room REAL quick 😵‍💫 But we’re just gonna come out and say it… we’ve been Montreal Canadiens fans all along 😎🏒

So much so that we had a full Canadiens-themed wedding back in 2013. What makes it even cooler is that the official Canadiens Pinterest page actually shared our wedding cake all those years ago.

And now here we are 13 years later… I mean… 13 can be a lucky number, right?

Small trays feed 6-8, medium 10-12 and large 15-20 🫶

Destination Lewisporte is hiring for the summer and this is a job you do not want to miss out on!! Hiring needs to be done by the end of the week so definitely get your resumes in ASAP! You’ll be working closely with LTACs program development manager, Cody, our bakery owner Haley and team of the Lewisporte tourism action committee!
