Full Menu below!

Here's how it works: I usually try to bring half the menu each week, alternating. So on week one I like to have:

-7 Layer Cake
-Pie
-Macarons
-Sourdough
-Bagels

And on week 2:
-Cupcakes
-Cookies
-Muffins
-Truffles
-various bread products

So in general you can kind of predict what I'll have based on this, however I will be bringing random other products week to week as well!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT INCOMING!
I am looking forward to seeing you all again at the Kingston Farmers Market NS this coming Thursday, June 4th for the biggest opening day yet.
As a new season begins, this also marks the 2 year anniversary of Taste & See. Now, as some of you know, I have worked a part-time job for the past 8.5 years. It has been incredibly hard, and at times downright impossible to juggle these two, with all responsibilities of life.
So I made the decision very recently to finally quit that job and pursue baking full-time. Am I crazy for doing this? Maybe a little. It's a huge risk. But I'm taking a step of faith and I am anticipating the moments when I can serve you all without the added stress.

Thank you so very much to all who have supported me thus far, you are keeping this alive! So here's to year 3 of Taste & See, can't wait to see what happens next!

GLUTEN-FREE BAGELS???
Yes, bagels. Yes, gluten-free. Yes, dairy-free. And yes, delicious!

Today I have revamped my bagel recipe, and boy, am I happy with it.
I always found my bagels too gummy amd grainy. Yes, they were full of whole grains, but it kind of overpowered.
Now, I have created a recipe that mimics a regular bagel to the best I've yet tasted. It's lighter, less grainy, and perfectly suited for tasty toppings. Yay bagels! πŸ₯― πŸ₯― πŸ₯―

Just wanted to share some of the fun things I do in the kitchen!
So in February I started a mission of making a sugar cookie recipe. I view my kitchen as a lab, where things get messy and science is discovered. It is SO cool and complex to discover the ins and outs of all that can happen (and go wrong!)
When I start a recipe, I start with a ratio. I usually make a very simple first batch based on that ratio. Then I build. And build. And build. Until the recipe is to the right taste and texture. And then when I'm finished, I'm still missing the key ingredient; you!
It's not until the recipe has been tasted by others, who have no bias, that I can really come back to it with honesty and put my work goggles back on. This is what I LOVE; creating, getting feedback, and perfecting. So please, never stop giving me feedback, I need it and appreciate it so very much!

And now for This Week's Menu Feature... HOT CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES!

Using the same recipe as for my Black Forest, this rich, fudgy cake is sure to satisfy any chocolate craving!
A center portion of the cake is carved out, leaving a space where homemade chocolate sauce is poured in. Just like the silky smooth feel of that hot drink on your tongue. β˜•οΈ
Whipped chocolate ganache is spread on top, made from milk chocolate and cream. And to top it off, locally made marshmallows handmade by Jess Fleet, owner of Crafty Treasures & Kitchen Treats
There might also be the occasional vanilla buttercream swirl, chocolate sauce drizzle, toasted marshmallow, and candy-cane, who knows!
I promise you'll love it, you'd never know its gluten-free.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026 to all my cherished supporters!!! 😊
Now time for the update; I am taking a full month vacation to rest from the super busy year, so I will be re-opening on
Thursday, JANUARY 22ND to take orders. Meaning I won't take orders until that day, and I need 48 hours minimum before time of delivery/pick-up. I have no markets lined up yet, but I will update if something changes.
As for the menu, I love the Christmas menu way too much to let it go this soon. πŸ˜† So I will keep it up top under 'featured' for a few months so that orders can be placed from both menus, regular and Christmas. That way if anyone wants a Hot Chocolate Cupcake on a cold, snowy day, or a warm slice of rosemary bread with a hot dinner... you still can!
I so look forward to taking orders for ANY occasion and serving you, WHATEVER your wish, in 3 weeks from today!! πŸ₯³
