Happy Kingston Farmers Market NS day! Looking like a beautiful day out there. Just a heads up I will not be there next week, so come get your gluten-free goods today 🌞
Thank you to Jess from Crafty Treasures & Kitchen Treats who gave me the idea to add fresh herbs to the DF cheese bagels, please let me know what you guys think!

• CHOCO CHEWIES (I've been revising the recipe to make them less crumbly, pretty happy with the results!)

• SOURDOUGH (vegan, made one with DF cheese & fresh herbs for something different)

• JALAPEÑO-CHEDDAR-HERB BAGELS! (DF option)

I think this is the most I've ever brought to a market 😄 Hope everyone finds something they like! Also, it's corn week at the Kingston Farmers Market NS can't wait to see the annual corn husking competition, it's always entertaining. 🌽
Alright, here's my long list of this week's menu 😆

(Ok side note- I wanted to try other people's recipes for once, so I just made a bunch of different chocolate chip cookie recipes haha)

I will not be at tomorrow's market as my oven is broken and, well, it's a bit of a disaster week 😅
So I apologize for any inconvenience and i will see you all next week!

And I am also planning of having my regular blueberry muffins, cheese bagels, and potentially black forest cupcakes.

Happy Thursday and Kingston Farmers Market NS day! So this week's a little weird for me...I actually have the least amount of products ever despite several long days in the kitchen. I ended up doing a lot of experiments this week that didn't turn out, HOWEVER; what I do have i am very excited about. After multiple bread loaf flops, I found a recipe for burger/sandwich buns that I've never tried before.
WOW.
They are hands down the best gluten-free buns I've ever had, so kudos to the recipe creator Katarina Cermelj for honestly an amazing recipe I would have taken years to develop.

GLUTEN-FREE MENU AUGUST 6:

-FRENCH MACARONS (Dairy-free)

-BURGER/SANDWICH BUNS (DF)

-CHEESE BUNS!!!!! (Soooo good 🤤)

-ROASTED GARLIC BUNS (probably soooo good, but only got to smell the amazing aroma not taste 🫨)

I would like to shine a light on a new bakery to the Kingston Farmers Market this year; Humble & Bloom!

Katelyn Nicks, a very pleasant and kind young woman, is the talent behind this bakery. Her passion is sourdough, and she loves it's many gut-friendly benefits. She used to be gluten-free, and made her own gluten-free sourdough for awhile, before eventually getting bold and trying regular sourdough. She found she could have it, so began baking sourdough for her family. Just last year she started her business, and is very grateful for the opportunity to bless the community.

But Katelyn didn't just stop at bread, all her products are made with sourdough starter. How cool is that?? You can have your cookie and eat your prebiotics too! Let's go!!
(The chocolate chip cookies are so good, highly recommend)

She sells sourdough mixes for pancakes and brownies and even the dehydrated starter itself! Very cool.
Find Humble & Bloom products either at the market when she's there, or her "bread shed" or at other local markets (I've seen her stuff at Spurr Brothers once). Follow her on Facebook! Check it out!
