This week, we lost someone very dear to us, Antonio Musumeci. He was a beloved father, brother, uncle, and to us our Nonno Taralli 🤍🥖🪽

It’s hard to believe that someone who has been part of our lives for so long is no longer with us, but we are holding on to the beautiful memories, the lessons, and the full life he lived. We were so blessed to have him by our side for so many years.
He showed us the true meaning of hard work, dedication, and how to persevere despite life’s challenges.

If you knew Antonio, you knew there was only one way to do things: Antonio’s way … Whether you were making cannolis, filling pastries, or setting something up in the bakery, it was never quite right unless it was done his way. And his way, truly was the best way.

He was a pivotal part of this bakery. He was family, and will always remain apart of our history. Not many people can say their 96 year old father/nonno was still coming into work every day, making cannolis, checking on everyone, and making sure things were done properly. But he was there every day because he loved being around his family and he loved seeing and speaking to our clients.

To our clients, if Antonio liked you, he would say hello. But if he loveddddd you, he would keep you in conversation for over an hour and always offering a taralli (so you would stay longer ;) Until one of us had to come get him and tell him that his wife was “calling”

We will remember his strength, his passion, his stories, his work ethic, and the love he gave to each of us in his own way.

Thank you, Antonio, for everything you built, everything you taught us, and everything you leave behind.

You will forever be part of us and will forever be in our hearts.

We love you, Nonno Taralli 🤍🥖
