It’s been a very busy few days with all kinds of things on order: Raspberry scones, Butter wraps, 12 Grain breads and buns, dinner buns, bagels, baguettes and more. Sometimes it’s a fight for the oven when everything is ready to bake at the same time but I somehow manage to get them all done. Lol

Just a reminder that I’m gone all next week…

My Sourdough Traditional ‘Soft Crust’ loaf is becoming more and more popular. The loaf still takes me 8 hours to prepare and 24-36 hours of fermentation but bakes at a much lower temperature. The result is the same delicious interior, soft and chewy, but with a much softer crust. It’s really the best of both worlds. Have you tried a slice?

Some of my customers have dietary restriction so I substitute coconut milk, coconut sugar or honey and coconut oil, when needed. The substitutions don’t make a noticeable change to the flavour of the sourdough which is nice.

What a lovely, rainy day. Do you know what you need? A loaf of fresh baked sourdough bread! I just dropped some loaves off at Sunnyside Dairy….a bonus delivery this week. I’ll also be back with my regular delivery on Thursday.

While you are at Sunnyside, you may want to grab some of these fresh cherry squares with cream cheese icing. They are soooo good!
