🚲 Let’s Keep Our Kids Safe on E-Bikes This Summer! 🚲

With more youth riding e-bikes around our community, it’s important that both parents and riders understand the rules that help keep everyone safe.

As the weather gets warmer and our kids spend more time outdoors, let’s work together to:
🚴 Teach safe riding habits
🚴 Review the rules before they ride
🚴 Ensure helmets fit properly
🚴 Encourage awareness and courtesy on roads and trails

Christine Dosouto (Teacher-Librarian at CML) is leading her 13th international trip this coming Spring Break! It's open to SD62 middle and high school students, and their parents.

This trip to South Africa will include an unforgettable safari experience to Kruger National Park, where you can see wildlife up close in their natural habitat. An email was sent to CML families on May 14 with the itinerary and details.

The organizers need to know by May 27 if there is interest from our school community in order to continue planning this trip.

Fundraising has already begun, and they already have $300 available for each participant who signs up before the end of this school year (June 25).

Thank you to Meadowcure Pharmacy + Coffee for their donation to our PAC hot lunch program! This helps us provide complimentary hot lunches for students who would otherwise be unable to order them.

Meadowcure is located at the back of the YMCA, and Slava can assess minor ailments and prescribe medications (along with fulfilling prescriptions from your doctor). They also offer a variety of smoothies, doughnuts, lunch wraps, frozen meals, and fancy (and unfancy) coffee drinks. A great stop before or after your YMCA visit!
