Established in 2012, The Little Explorer's Club served a decade of quality Licensed Child Care for children aged 0-12 in the Westshore. We created many wonderful memories and enriched dozens of young lives before permanently closing in 2022. You'll always have a special place in my heart!

Today some friends and I went on a "17 minute" walk up a steep hill (Spoiler: it was NOT only 17 minutes 🤦‍♀️). Along the way we saw some super cool things but none as great as the beautiful lakeside spot at the top! 🤩

Just when we thought we had seen it all this year. Due to heat, please keep kids home if possible, tomorrow, Monday June 28. Schools will be open, but classes will not run as usual. Buses are CANCELLED tomorrow as well due to extreme temps. Thanks for your understanding. We will post updates about Tuesday, later.

Our Story

Our name, "The Little Explorer's Club" was chosen to reflect that we are so much more than just Child Care! We ensure that our group is filled with like-minded families who support one another and share the belief that "it takes a village to raise a child". We strongly believe that our children will develop a love for learning by being given the chance to explore their world through play and diversity. They are building self-confidence, compassion and life-long friendships by the loving and consistent relationships that we nurture.

We have a large indoor and outdoor space and spend lots of time in each! We loosely follow a Reggio Emilia approach which means that a huge emphasis is put on respecting each other, building a community, and allowing children the freedom of exploring and learning from their own interests and surroundings. At The Little Explorers Club kids will learn about independence while getting on and off their own outdoor gear, about counting while baking muffins, about taking turns while playing a game of Memory, about colors while painting a picture and about community by having a consistent, loving caregiver and playmates who welcome them each day!
