Sweet Capones is jumping on board.
Thank you Sweet Home on the Lake for bringing awareness to this dire situation in our own back yard.
To our amazing and supportive customers:
This situation is dire and so incredibly heart breaking.
When we did our Mamas for Mamas - Red Deer and Area post in May, we personalized it because there are resources in our community that have helped my family in our time of need and are incredibly dear to our hearts.
Resources like, Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre, Red Deer Christmas Bureau Society and yes, the Red Deer Food Bank.
I think back to the number of times my husband and I with our three small children in tow (we have 6 now) requested a hamper and raided their lobby for Friday night dinner. They fed my family when we couldn’t feed ourselves and now their shelves are empty.
I can’t help but acknowledge how hard this economy has been on everyone and how everyone is feeling a bit stretched thin.
We want to help, but we need YOUR help!
When you come into Sweet Capone’s this week (Until Saturday) and you bring in a donation for the Food Bank of any size or value, you will receive 10% off your order; on everything.
Coffee, cannolis, sandwiches, you name it.
Let’s get this food bank filled!
