At the Greenwood Mall Market today 11-4 with a few of the gift type items I will have in store once I open at my new location. I have handmade paper rose wreaths (made from old novels). Handmade paper flowers single, handmade paper flower pens. Some flowers are plain, some are painted with watercolor. Also handmade keychains, pens, bag charms and bookmarks. Blind date with a book plus surprise bags to enhance your “blind date” experience.

I have some more exciting news for my customers! Backwoods Bakery is changing its name to The Valley Pour!!!

**All gift certificates and loyalty cards etc WILL be honoured with the Backwoods Bakery Logo. **

We get our new place June 4th.
By mid to end of June I hope to be settled enough to start taking orders for pickup from Middleton or the Greenwood Mall market while we work on getting the commercial kitchen built. I may also be able to offer free local delivery by bike courier (my son) if enough interest to keep him busy.

What will be the new address? 60 Commercial St in Middleton. Nestled between Blue Griffon Books and The Valley Rose building. We will be using the front sunroom off Commercial st to build the kitchen and storefront (after some extra insulation of course). Eventually we will open the living room and dining room up for cafe and tea room once we build a wheelchair accessible ramp and bathroom. So it will come in stages. Thanks for all of your patience during this pause and move of my business. I hope to see you all there soon!!

Ok. I know many people have been wondering what’s going on and when I’ll be open again. I have some updates. We have sold our house and are buying a house in Middleton! I still don’t have a set date to be open again, but I do plan on being at some markets in the meantime, just maybe not with baked goods for now while we get packed for moving. I’m hoping to be back up and running end of June with a much better set up. Thank you for your patience and well wishes! What an awesome afternoon with these fun ladies! I think The Mad Hatters Tea Party was the best one yet! Thanks to everyone that came out from far and near! New Germany, Bridgewater, Greenwood to Middleton! I can’t wait for the next tea party adventure!
