Let me tell ya….. nothing more decadent, more silky, more Canadian…than The Canadian Cheesecake shown here!!! Our national pride, the buttertart, nestled inside a silky brown sugar cheesecake with a pastry crust and a crumbled buttertart topping…dripping with caramel. My breakfast may have consisted of this this morning at 6:30am!! 😊. I am so lucky to be Canadian, and live in Canada!!

Hello Bagel Rebel Lovers and Dedicated Customers! We are going to take a break from bagel production for a bit.
We have felt the love and outpouring of support from each and every one of you; and we genuinely appreciate it and love meeting & chatting with all of you!!
We are taking a little time to evaluate and re-evaluate our bagel business to be able to provide you with the best experience and the best bagels possible!! We are proud of our bagels and because of your overwhelming support, we have become extremely busy and need to find the best way for our production to continue for the significantly increasing volumes that we are experiencing. We currently do not house our own production kitchen, but rent a few local commercial kitchens to produce our bagels. We have been looking for a permanent home for Bagel Rebel since December 2024 without great success; and as our volume of bagels have increased to the enormity that it has, it has become difficult to make & mix, hand roll, cold proof/refrigerate, boil, bake and rack/store our bagels in the smaller rented kitchen spaces.
Many have suggested that this is good problem to have; I agree, somewhat! But…with the increased volume of sales, the quicker we constantly sell out, and thus leave many customers very disappointed that we have nothing available for them.
So we are going to take some time to evaluate, reflect, seek advice, and take a step back to think outside of the perimeters of our current business plan. A positive plan!!
As always, and as we move forward, I will keep you updated as to how things are progressing!! 🙏🙏

FOTW for June 13!

Good evening all!!
This week’s Flavours of the Week are now up & the online shoppe is open for your pre-orders. Pick up is Friday afternoon beginning at 12 noon at The Landings Golf Course.

As you may notice, FOTW # 1 is the same as last week due to the popular demand of both the pre-orders for Friday pick-up and at the Public Market last week…and from all your messages you’ve sent!!! 🙌🙌😁

Thinking of dad with all your amazing suggestions last week, this bagel will surely be a delectable addition to a dad’s day breakfast, snack or feast!

The Gimmicky is the Pina Colada bagel!
A delicious pineapple dough topped with a delicious coconut rum glaze and toasted coconut. This gem will surely give dad the warm & fuzzy’s!!

Please remember when placing your order, to set a reminder for yourself to pick up your bagels on Friday!! 😁😂.

Also, remember that we are at The Kingston Public Market at Springer Market Square on Saturdays!! Though we continually increase our production for that day, we do sell out quickly…so getting there early to get all your desired choices is recommended!! 😁

AND…as with every week, with every Friday’s pre-orders, every Saturday Market purchases, and all the corporate & catering purchases & events, I continue to thank you & praise you for your commitment to supporting us at Bagel Rebel 🙏.

Flavours of the Week for June 6 Pick-up!

This week’s Flavours Of The Week are now up and the on-line shoppe is open for your orders!

This week as we roll into a new month, we have focused a little more on the ‘dad’ side of the culinary palate 😅; taking some of your suggestions for new bagel flavours!

FOTW #1 is the Montreal Steak Spice Bagel!! Yup, it was suggested, and we have tested it!! Not so far off as to the same flavour concept as an Everything bagel, just a little more peppery zing. Pairing this bagel with the feature cream cheese, The Smoked Mushroom, Bacon & Cheddar, is a must!! 🔥🔥🔥

FOTW #2 The Red Velvet with White Chocolate Chips!! A delicious combination of flavours! This one yells for a cream cheese for sure!! Plain works very well, but… the Raspberry Merlot from Saturday’s Market features is killer, as is the Cherry Chocolate Bomb from last week, if you have any of those left over!!😁

This week, and moving forward, we are only doing Pick-up of bagels. We have decided to suspend the Friday morning deliveries for the summer. With the great number of you now coming to see us at the Saturday Market, and coming for the pick-ups on Friday afternoons, we have decided to focus on those two areas for the summer through to the end of the market season. The pick-up location remains at The Landings Golf Course.
Catering and corporate deliveries will remain the same.
