I’ve been busy baking, creating, and getting everything ready — including this brand new farm stand! 🥖🐓🌻

There are so many delicious goodies and farm-fresh products in the lineup, and I can’t wait to surprise you all with what’s coming. From fresh sourdough to homemade treats and a few special surprises, I’ve been pouring my heart into every detail. ❤️

Some of the best things in life are the simplest. 🌾

A warm loaf of sourdough, a little butter, and a quiet moment at the end of the day. That’s the kind of comfort I hope every loaf from Maple Hollow Farm brings to your table. ❤️

Made with only four simple ingredients — flour, water, salt, and starter — then slowly fermented for 24 hours to develop its beautiful flavour and texture. No preservatives, no shortcuts, just honest bread made with care. ✨

There is something so rewarding about turning a few simple ingredients into a loaf that can bring family and friends together around the table. 🥖

🌿🐓 A Little PSA from Maple Hollow Farm 🍞🌻

I wanted to take a moment to share something from the heart. ❤️

Maple Hollow Farm is, and always will be, my hobby farm. It’s a place where I get to enjoy some of the things I love most—raising chickens, growing vegetables, tending to the garden, and spending time in the kitchen creating sourdough bread and homemade goodies to share with our community at the farmers market. 🐔🥚🌱🍅🍞

While I absolutely love every minute I spend on the farm, it is not my full-time career. My profession and passion is being a Continuing Care Assistant (CCA). Caring for seniors, building meaningful relationships, providing comfort, dignity, and support to those who need it most is truly where my heart belongs. ❤️👵👴

Healthcare is more than a job to me—it’s a calling. Being able to make a difference in someone’s day, listen to their stories, and care for them as if they were my own family is something I am incredibly grateful for. 🩺💙

I think it’s important to remember that you can have enjoyable hobbies and still absolutely love your career. One does not take away from the other. In fact, I believe the things we are passionate about outside of work help make us better at what we do every day. 🌿✨

In many ways, both healthcare and farming have something in common. They allow me to nurture, care for, and give back to others. Whether I’m caring for residents, collecting fresh eggs, growing vegetables, or baking a loaf of sourdough, I find joy in creating something meaningful and sharing it with others. 🌾🥚🍞

So when you see Maple Hollow Farm, know that you’re seeing a small piece of what I love to do outside of work—a hobby that brings me happiness, peace, and a chance to connect with my community. ☀️🌻

I am incredibly proud to be a CCA, and I am equally grateful for this little hobby farm that allows me to express my creativity and share homemade products with others. One is my career, and one is my hobby—and I love them both. ❤️

🌾👩🏼‍🌾 Just scored the sweetest little treasure at Value Village in New Minas and I’m absolutely smitten! 😍🐓🌻✨

And guess what? This charming vintage-inspired gem was only $2.99! 🙌💛

I spotted this delightful farmhouse picture frame and simply couldn’t leave it behind. The proud rooster, cheerful sunflowers, and darling little wagon make it feel like something straight out of a country storybook. 🚜🌻🐓💕 It’s brimming with old-fashioned charm, and honestly, they just don’t make frames this whimsical anymore! ✨🧺❤️

A friendly little reminder to wander through the thrift store before buying new—you never know what forgotten treasures and curious keepsakes might be waiting on the shelves. 🕰️🛒✨🌼

Now I just have to decide which special photo deserves a spot in this lovely vintage beauty! 📸💛🌻

🥚🐔 Daily egg collection is one of my favourite farm chores… but apparently Luna & Kuno think these fresh eggs belong to them! 😂🐾

Every single day they follow me around the coop, hoping an egg might accidentally make its way into their snack bowl. Sorry pups, these beauties are spoken for! 🤭

And can we talk about those yolks? 😍 Nothing beats the rich golden colour of fresh farm eggs. Once you’ve had farm-fresh, there’s no going back! 🧡🥚

I swear every time I see those tiny fluffy faces, all logic disappears. Watching them peep, snuggle, and explore their new home is one of my favourite parts of farm life. ❤️

Every night, without fail, my girls and Dennis pick their favourite spot by the window to settle in for bedtime. 🐔❤️

It’s one of my favourite parts of the day. The girls each have their own little personalities—some are curious, some are sassy, some are total sweethearts—and Dennis always makes sure he’s keeping an eye on everyone. 🥰🐓

What started as a few chickens has turned into so much more. They’ve become part of my daily routine, my entertainment, my stress relief, and honestly, a big part of my heart. ❤️

Watching them all lined up on their window perch, safe and cozy for the night, reminds me just how much joy farm life brings. 🌾✨

Anyone else completely obsessed with their chickens, or is it just me? 😂🐔❤️

🐔🌾 Sometimes I look around and think… my chickens and their handsome rooster Dennis are living a better life than most of us! 😂❤️

Fresh grass under their feet, sunshine on their feathers, endless snacks, cozy coop naps, and a mum who absolutely adores them. I’d say they’ve got it pretty good! 🥰🐓

And as if I wasn’t excited enough already… today I’m heading out to pick up MORE Silkies! 😍✨ My heart is so full thinking about adding these fluffy little beauties to the Maple Hollow Farm family.

There’s just something special about farm life. The early mornings, the fresh air, the happy clucks, and watching all these little personalities grow and thrive. It’s a lot of work, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. ❤️🌿

Now tell me… how many chickens is too many chickens? Asking for a friend. 🤭🐔
