Did you know that the West Highland White Terrier’s bright coat and fearless attitude were shaped by the rugged landscapes of Scotland? 🐶✨

Originating in the Scottish Highlands, the Westie was bred as a hardy hunting terrier, tasked with flushing out foxes, badgers, and other small game from rocky terrain. Their distinctive white coat was intentionally chosen so they could be easily distinguished from prey, while their compact, sturdy build made them tough enough for the job.

Despite their working roots, West Highland White Terriers quickly became known for their lively personality and independent spirit. Brave, confident, and endlessly curious, they carried their big-dog attitude wherever they went.
