I am learning all the time about the latest U Tube sensations, like this one - Siren Head. The birthday boy wanted a Siren Head cake, so after some research, I was able to make it. Very vanilla bean cake filled and iced with vanilla buttercream, decorated with tall grass this thing likes to run through as he chases down and eats humans.

I got a call this morning from the grooms mom, asking if I could make a wedding cake for a wedding later in the afternoon. Why? Because the cake that was transported from Toronto did not make it in one piece. I did help them out with this simple white cutting cake, but it really does bring it home that if you are getting married in Muskoka, get a baker close to the venue, so accidents don’t happen and ruin the day.

I had the privilege of making a wedding cake for one of my customers, who I have known since I started my business. Top tier was Coconut cake filled with Pina colada buttercream and bottom tier Maple cake, filled and iced with Spiced Rum buttercream.

Her cake toppers were Flunkos, so cute.
