Nothing quite like taking a nice brisk fall stroll with your pigs 🥰

The temperature was just right the pigs made all the leaves crinkle as they walked through the forest and I enjoy the scenery and planning for next year's spring pastures.

Oh what beautiful things are to come 🍁

Jessie got to meet the twins today. They share a stall wall but can't see each other so I scooped her up and put her over with them for a little meet 'n' greet!

They do not have names yet so if anyone has some suggestions I will pass them on to Lu and see what she thinks 🥰 I will post photos of each in a little bit.

I was not expecting Cherry to kid before Binoo but when we got to the farm today we got a little surprise.

We are naming this little girl Jessie (her Sire is Buzzin for Sugar ~ "Buzz" for short) Now just to wait on Binoo and see how many she has 👀 I'm guessing at least two because she's huge but only time will tell.

The count is in!We have 4 Rebecca Gina gilts and 2 Te Whangi Boarlings. Curly Sue has been such a good momma to them all...

Curly Sue farrowed 1 day early but she was well prepared and has six beautiful piglets; half are carbon copies of her and the other half are just like their sire, Zues.

Once I'm sure she is done farrowing I will check to see how many gilts and boarlings we have.

There’s something pretty special about a view like this. 😍

My new bedroom windows have quickly become my favourite spot in this new ol' farmhouse. A beautiful reminder that the longer you wait for something the more you appreciate it when you work hard to get it!

I could get very used to waking up to seeing this view every day, I cannot wait until the house is finished and this is my view in the morning, every single morning 🥰
