I want to start by saying a heartfelt thank you to all of my amazing customers, especially those who continue to come back and support me time and time again. It truly means so much. And to all of my new followers, welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
After 3.5 years of keeping my pricing the same, I’ve made the decision to adjust my cupcake pricing slightly.
When I first started, butter was under $5 and icing sugar was $1.99 a bag. Now, it’s honestly a treat to even find butter for $5—and that’s becoming extremely rare. Quality butter is now typically in the $7–$8 range, and icing sugar has increased to $3.79–$4.99 per bag. Like everything else, the cost of ingredients has continued to rise.
Even with this change, my pricing remains lower than what you would typically pay in the city for the same level of custom floral work.
This business actually began with my own wedding. When I was pricing out cupcakes from Edmonton bakeries, I was quoted what felt like outrageous prices. I made a promise to myself then that I would learn how to do it myself and provide my community, especially brides, with the same quality at a price that better aligns with us rural folk. So many vendors love to increase the prices once they hear it's for a wedding, I experienced that first hand.
This work is also incredibly time-intensive. Some of my floral cupcake designs can take upwards of 10 minutes per cupcake, as each flower is hand-piped with care and attention to detail.
Over the years, I’ve continued to grow and refine my skills to create more detailed, elegant, and consistent designs. Every order reflects that experience, time, and care.
I’m also proud to now offer a private kitchen dedicated solely to my custom baking. This provides a clean, controlled, and safe environment, giving you peace of mind with every order.
Thank you again for supporting my small business. Your support allows me to keep creating, improving, and bringing city-quality desserts to our communities.
