Made a lot of sourdough this week… but this batch was a little different! 🥹🍞

I made bread for the staff at the Manor as a small thank you for such an amazing year. Baking has been such a special part of my time here, and getting to share it with the people I’ve worked alongside makes this goodbye a little easier.

I can’t believe I’ll be leaving at the end of the month. I’m so grateful for the people I’ve met, the friendships I’ve made, and all the memories I’ll be taking with me.

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to let you guys know that unfortunately, I’ll be moving at the end of the month.
Over the past year, I’ve really grown to love this town and this community. In so many ways, Hay River reminded me of home, and I’m so grateful for all the memories I’ve made here.

I honestly can’t thank you guys enough for all the support you’ve shown me since I came here. Every order, message, and kind word has meant so much to me, and I’m truly grateful for everyone who supported my little baking journey!

This is definitely a bittersweet moment for me. While I’m excited for what’s ahead, it’s hard to say goodbye to a place that has come to mean so much to me.

For now, I need to leave for a little while, but I truly hope that someday I’ll have the chance to bake for this community again. I’ll be baking as much as I can right up until I leave!

Thank you, Hay River, for making my time here so special. I’ll never forget it. 🍞💜

Turn it into homemade croutons in just 15 minutes.
I made a batch today using my jalapeño cheddar sourdough for my salad!🥗

• Dice into cubes
• Toss with olive oil, garlic salt & Italian seasoning
• Bake at 350°F for 15–20 minutes, until golden and crispy

With summer in full swing, I’ll be shifting my focus and baking more fresh sourdough bread! ❤️🍞
