You may have noticed that I’ve been a little quiet lately. My family and I are going through a big transition, and because of that, I haven’t been able to take on new orders. We are relocating to a different city, and while a part of me is excited for this new chapter, another part of me is truly heartbroken to be leaving Hamilton. This city holds so many memories and emotions for me — it’s where my journey began, where I grew, and where I met all of you.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to each one of you for your constant support, kindness, and encouragement. This past year has been full of moments I never imagined when I first started. Every order, every message, every kind word… it has shaped me in ways I’ll forever carry with me.

I’m not sure when I’ll be able to get back to work, but right now, I just hope to navigate this transition with grace and calm. Thank you for being a part of my story. Your love has meant more than you know. 🥲

A very special milestone for a little boy! 🥰

There’s something truly heartwarming about being part of a family’s celebration when their baby takes the first step into the world of food. Such a beautiful and meaningful moment to cherish!

For this little one’s big day, I created a cake that felt just as soft and pure as his tiny smile — simple, fresh, and filled with warmth.

Also, a big thank you to the wonderful mom for being so kind and accommodating with her order. I had to travel during that week, and she was so understanding about receiving the cake a few days earlier. I’m truly grateful for such kind and trusting clients. It makes what I do even more special. 💖

Watch me prep the strawberries for my most-loved Strawberry Shortcake 🍓
It took a few rounds of trial and error to figure out how to control the moisture so the fresh cream stays light and the cake doesn’t turn soggy.
The secret? Coat the strawberries with a sprinkle of sugar and let them sit to release their juices before layering them in. But first wash them with vinegar and soda, then rinse with water one more time before cutting the strawberries.
