Hello lovers of learning!

I am so happy to announce the dates of our first SOURDOUGH WORKSHOP! We'll be doing one workshop on two different dates.

I'm calling it Sourdough 101 because in it you will learn the fundamentals of sourdough and when you are done you will be able to bake real bread at home, and more!

It is a day long workshop simply because making sourdough bread takes time. But we won't be sitting around waiting for dough to rise, we'll be learning the following with hands-on activities:

-how to take care of your sourdough starter (you get to take some home)
-how to mix dough, what makes a good dough
-shaping the loaves
-baking the loaves
-how to turn your regular kitchen into a bakery quality space
-flour, water, salt... all about ingredients
-what to do with all the extra starter? Pizza dough, pancakes and other recipes

Lunch is included (we'll be making sourdough pizza crust and baking the pizzas to eat!)

Time and place :

Sunday April 15 and 22 (choose one date) from 9am to 5:30pm

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL Sign up before February 25 get a free loaf of bread any week you like!
No need to decide right now when you get said loaf of bread, just let me know the Tuesday before delivery.

REFERAL SPECIAL Recommend a friend that signs up and get a free loaf of bread whenever you like! Get your friend to tell me you suggested us to them and you get an extra loaf whenever you like! Just let me know by the Tuesday before delivery.

Community Supported Bakery is an investment by both bakers and community to provide better quality food, fair wages to producers on all levels, reduce waste, and promote a sustainable local economy. We live in Hamilton, we bake with the care and attention to quality that we want for our own family.

Flour Water Salt is happy to continue bread delivery by subscription this Spring. As a subscriber you will enjoy fresh baked bread and pastries delivered every Saturday (except the 1rst delivery which will be Sunday) In order for this model to be viable, we need at least 120 subscribers so please spread the word to friends and family who love good quality bread !

How our Community Supported Bakery works:

There is no extra charge for delivery. We do however ask that you chose your items and pay for them before the beginning of the term. We`ll be taking subscriptions until March 11.
Please note we will be out of town from February 25-March 8 and will have limited access to computers during that time.

Other items from our oven can be added to your regular order on a week by week basis, orders sent by email at the latest Monday before delivery and are COD.

If you are not home for a delivery date, we credit your order and you can get it another week.

We are now an participating in two of the incredible Terra Farmers Markets. Every Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm at both Milton Terra Greenhouse and Hamilton Terra Greenhouse. We have added some new breads to the lineup so come sample our Olive Rosemary, Seedy Rye, or Jalapeño Cheddar. Come early though, as we have been selling out quickly!

We are offering weekly bread home delivery starting Saturday November 11, 2017 through to February 17, 2018.

Imagine Saturday mornings with the best in bread at your door. Minimum commitment is for 1 sourdough loaf per week. Additional Flour Water Salt items may be added for regular delivery, or ordered week by week. There is no extra charge for delivery.

You get fresh bread this winter and thanks to your support, we get to bake it for you.
