The end of wedding season is approaching and we’re thrilled to share our last few cakes with you🤍

Sienna and Kenny, from Scotland and Alberta, decided to meet in the middle and celebrate their wedding here in Nova Scotia. Oceanstone Resort & Spa made the perfect setting, with the beautiful East Coast waters the backdrop for their day.

Their three-tier cake featured a soft dusty blue hue, finished with deep wine and burnt orange florals.

Wedding season has been spectacular this year and we’re savouring every delivery and special moment with our couples. 🤍

This two-tier wedding cake was adorned with beautiful ivory and champagne florals with and deep green foliage. To complete the sweet table, we created matching monogrammed macarons for a thoughtful little detail that tied everything together.

The perfect ivory wedding cake🤍

The delivery and installation of this wedding cake was an unforgettable experience. 🤍

Created for our lovely couple, Ainsley and Alec, this opulent 7-tier, 6-foot Lambeth-piped masterpiece was intricately detailed from top to bottom.

The family came to us inspired by the extraordinary work of French cake designer Bastien Blanc-Tailleur. From that inspiration, we developed our own design, layering elaborate borders, swags, scrolls and shells in royal icing, with intricate overpiping inspired by masters of the craft like Eddie Spence, Joseph Lambeth and contemporary artist Susan Trianos.

Bringing a cake of this scale to life was ambitious. It required extra vehicles, extra hands and plenty of careful planning, including a venue walkthrough the day before and hours of finishing and installation on-site. We will share more BTS in the next video.

A true labour of love, and one we’ll never forget.
