And that's all we baked, my friends.

We hope you are having a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.

This concludes our 18th season and - WOW - what a season this has been. While it was not without it's issues (signage, gossip and the whole, you know, world thing), we want to thank you so much for, once again, seeing us through. Your energy, laughter and support were just what we needed. And to those of you who were willing to step in and step up on our behalf, we love you dearly.

This weekend someone asked us why we don't just focus on butter tarts, push out as many as we can; that perhaps we were hurting our business (financially) by focusing on being creative with our baking. Early on we did consider narrowing our focus, turing the store into a commisary, baking as many tarts as we could to get into as many retail spaces as possible. It was a short lived idea.

Would it have been easier? Maybe. Would we make more money? That's questionable. Would we be happier?

Absolutely not.

No matter what is happening beyond our doors, The Little Tart is a place where we hope you find joy, kindness and acceptance. We do what we do the way we do for you. It is not completely selfless - I mean - this is how we make a living but putting that aside, the joy and happiness we get in return is priceless and so we wouldn't change a thing.

Now, I never get through one of these season finale psots without turning into a messy puddle and this one is no exception so I'll wrap it up now by saying thank you so much for keeping this teeny-tiny business alive through trying times. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to bake for you this year and we look forward to doing it all over again next year!

In the meantime, please, please, please be safe and be healthy so you can come back and visit us next year because, until then, we'll miss you❣️

We have one weekend to go and we are already prepping! It's going to be a busy week here as we get ready for our season finale.

We will be open Friday next weekend and the store will be stocked with lots of goodies for your Thanksgiving celebrations. If you are in, around or nearby please pop in for a visit. We'd love to see you!

We don't know who started it but it has reached us several times now and so we need to address it.

Bill and I are NOT retiring this year. We are already looking toward next year.

If this rumor reaches you, please, please, please squash it.

We get it, we're looking a little haggard but we are not done yet! There's still a lot of baking making to go, my friends!
