Christine has retired and she’s happy to see you around…

But the Nigh crew wants you to know that something delicious will be coming into the 4 walls in the new year!!

We thought that we would let Christine’s customers be the first to know that in the first few months of 2026, we will be able to tell you about the delicious new business coming to town!

A huge thank you to each and every one of you who stopped by, sold us out, sent well wishes and made us feel so special and loved this weekend. We appreciate all the messages from those who couldn't stop by in person too.

We have loved serving the Jarvis and surrounding community for the last 17+ years and getting to know so many of you as more than loyal customers but as friends. We have watched your babies grow, celebrated your highs and supported you in your lows - just as the community as done for Christine and Ken and their family.

While we look forward to finding joy and our new normal in this next chapter we also feel sadness at the connections and conversations we won't have on a regular basis with so many of you. You will be very missed.

Thank you again for everything and we look forward to seeing you around the community.

Wow - what a day!
Thank you to everyone who came in to see us today - we appreciate each and every one of you.
We will be open tomorrow at 9 am with VERY limited beef. You sold us out today by 930 am and we expect the same tomorrow as well as we have a smaller amount available.
We have a good amount of bread and buns and some freezer entrees still available too!

A SWEET FAREWELL TO CHRISTINE'S BAKERY
October 24-25, 2025

some notes:
Christine's famous beef- one last weekend! There will be beef available each day in limited amounts while supplies last.
Large size available only, ONE per customer due to high demand, cash only $40. Beef will be fresh not frozen.

We will be selling off a lot of supplies and bakery items such as baking sheets, cake pans, grocery items, measuring cups, Utensils, metal roasting pans, foil trays, kitchen aid mixer, large roasters and Crock pots etc. We also have black rolling carts and some chrome bakery racks.
We will not be posting pictures but if you'd like to inquire about something specific, please send us a private message here.

Both days are CASH ONLY.

🍰 A Sweet Farewell to Christine’s Bakery

After many wonderful years of filling our days with the smell of fresh baking, warm smiles, and the kind of treats that make memories, Christine is retiring. 🫶

Christine’s Bakery has been a cherished part of our community — a place where birthdays were made sweeter, holidays were filled with pies and pastries, and everyday coffee breaks became special moments.

Before she hangs up her apron, Chris will be opening the bakery for a few final days to offer some of her famous baked goods one last time. Until october 24&25, she will be closed foe inventory. Chris will also be selling a selection of her baking items — from trays and pans to pots and perhaps even some of the larger pieces that helped make her creations possible.

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Ken on September 21, 2025.
Ken loved his "job", visiting with customers and was so proud of his pastries and freezer selection.
He is going to be so missed and we appreciate your love and understanding as Christine and family grieve and figure out the next steps.
