A Message from the Pie in the Sky Team
"It is with mixed emotions that we have decided to part ways with our Grimsby store. First of all, I cannot express how grateful I am to all of you for supporting us in this endeavor. It has been an absolute pleasure meeting all of you.
However, the reality is that we have been struggling to keep everything moving. Running a farm and raising a little one, while trying to grow our Grimsby store, has been much more challenging than we originally anticipated. We would love to be able to do it all, but we simply can’t, and we believe that is okay.
Going forward, we are going to focus on growing our farm and enjoying more family time. ‘Pick Your Own’ apples will be available again this year at the farm, our northern market will continue to run, and our wholesale customers will continue to carry our products."

While we say a fond farewell to the team at Pie in the Sky, we are excited to share that this location will remain a community staple under new local leadership.
We are thrilled to announce that the space has been acquired by Simon Duong and his team. Many of you know Simon through his deep roots in the community—as the owner of Teddy’s Sports Bar, a dedicated supporter of the Grimsby Peach Kings, and a local Realtor. Now, Simon and the team at The Social Vine are bringing their collective passion for Grimsby to this exciting new venture.
Our team is hard at work creating a space that will feature:
• Artisanal Bakehouse: Daily selections of fresh, premium baked goods.
• Boutique Kitchen: Freshly prepared food and seasonal light bites.
• Specialty Wine Boutique: A curated retail experience specializing in exclusive, hard-to-find labels and boutique wines perfect for collectors and gift-giving.
"I’ve always believed in investing in the Town we love," says Simon. "With The Social Vine, our goal is to create a welcoming, high-quality space where neighbors can find fresh food, great treats, and a unique wine selection that is truly special to our region."
