The farmers market is officially on for 10:30 AM tomorrow, loaded with fresh produce and farmhouse eggs!

Sorry for the late message, but I just got a hold of the Colony.
Usually we start at 10 AM, but we probably will not be back from picking up produce from the Vanguard Colony before 10 AM, so be patient if we are not there yet.

As other Gravelbourg Market Participants need an answer in time, we have made a swift decision regarding our upcoming farmers' market on July 17, and we have decided to cancel it. Why did we make this decision? No response from the Hodgeville Hutterite Colony about whether they have produce available for tomorrow. Cathy's vegetable garden isn't ready yet.

Please let me know about other opportunities (if available) within a reasonable driving distance, as well as an affordable solution for presenting produce at our farmers' market. Thank you for understanding. 306-648-7559 Call or Text.

Hello Local Food Friends,

Sadly, the weather hasn't been cooperating with us for the past couple of weeks. I just finished a call with the Hodgeville Hutterite Colony, and they only have potatoes available at the moment. As you know, I didn't reach out to the Vanguard Colony today. While we are bummed to see your smiling faces tomorrow, Friday, the bad weather isn't helping, so we're canceling the Farmers Market for Friday, July 10th. We'll miss seeing you, but stay tuned for our next market day.

A message from the Vanguard Colony, received by us today.

A severe hailstorm followed by 2 inches of rain swept through our Colonies Gardens Yesterday, Friday. Completely devastating our fields within minutes. Many of our vegetables took a major hit, and it’s truly heartbreaking to see a month of hard work wiped out this late in the season. We hope to be back in business by the end of July.

We just spoke with the Hodgeville and Vanguard Hutterite Colonies, and they don't have any produce available for sale at our Gravelbourg Farmers Market on Friday morning. Sorry about that. There might be bakery items or other goodies for sale, so contact the participants to confirm. Or leave us a message in the comments.
