Hello friends! Just a reminder of the announcement we made at the end of last summer that due to family commitments back here in Ontario, we won't be opening the Cafe this summer (2013). We'll still be coming out for a vacation (first real one in years!), but we won't be opening the Shop.

Apparently there are rumours going around that what we are shutting for good. (You have to love the rumour mill in our small communities!). Not true, so we wanted to set the record straight! You heard it here first - the report of our death is greatly exaggerated, as Mark Twain once said. We'll be opening our doors again next summer.

Hi Everybody. Due to ongoing problems with my torn-up knee, we will not be able to open the shop today (Thurs.). Running the shop alone and on crutches is pretty much impossible. I hope that after a day of rest, a bag of ice, and a fist full of Advil, I will be back at it tomorrow.
