In case you missed it last week...

The feedback from the cakes last week has been wonderful! So many of you emailed and messaged me to say how delicious the cakes were and how much you loved them.

Here's a few highlights:

- Omg this is the best carrot cake I've ever had! And the icing is to DIE FOR!

- Wow! Everything is perfect. The flavour, the texture, unbelievable!

- I served this for dessert and no one could believe it was gluten free and dairy free!

- Your baking is f*cking spot on!

I ALSO had emails from so many of you who were sad because you missed out on cake last week. So, I decided to do another round of fall goodness to share.

You can get your hands on these beauties to pick up at Friday noon.

"6 The BEST Carrot Cake (GF, DF) $35/ea - moist, spiced, and topped with flulffy vegan cream cheese buttercream. YUMMMMM....

"6 Amazing Aplle Cake (GF, DF) $35/ea - perfectly spiced organic gala apples over (and in) a soft sponge, piled high with melt in your mouth crumble. Get in my mouth!!!

Like everything else, these will freeze well for up to 3 months (but lets be serious here, you're going to want to eat this asap), and are honestly to DIE FOR!

I was asked to make a carrot cake for the birthday of one of my sweet friends this week, and as usual, every time I eat it, I think to myself, "this is seriously the best thing I've ever eaten." Yep, it's that good.

If you recall, this is the same cake that my mother-in-law, who HATES carrot cake, absolutely adores. With it's moist sponge, depth of warm spices, and fluffy vegan cream cheese icing, it will convert even the most staunch of the carrot cake haters.

But WAIT, there's more! I was also gifted a huge basket of delicious organic Italian plums. Sweet, perfectly ripe, and ready to be baked into the softest sponge with a crispy crumble that makes you want to drool just looking at it.

And because I am a firm believer that good things should be shared, you can get your hands on these to pick up tomorrow (Friday) at noon.

LAST CHANCE + PREORDER OPTION

It's a bitter sweet day for me as I'm starting to close this chapter of the year and gearing up for the next.

I LOVE the farmers market. I love the creativity and minfulness of baking. I love thinking of fun things to create and delight you with, and most of all, I love seeing you.

I cherish the community of the market and the joy of connection on these sunny (and sometimes NOT so sunny days!).

What I'm trying to say, is that it's been a privilege loving you with my baking and I am grateful that you have chosen to trust me with your gluten free goodies for yourself and your loved ones.

So thank you, I don't take that lightly and I have loved every second of it.

It's a few days before Bliss Eat's last market and I wanted to give you an opportunity to stock up (if you want to), gift you with a bit of a discount for some items, and also to preorder cinnamon buns if you want them for your freezer.

Please email me at [email protected] with your order by Thursday morning at 10am AT THE LATEST, so I have time to prepare your items and bake enough cinnamon buns. 😉

Preordering items:
Cinnamon buns! I accidently pre-sold what I had intended to bring so I'm opening the door for you to also pre-order, yay! They are $8/ea with a minimum of 4 per order.

The BEST strawberry rhubarb bars and the BEST peach bars. I miscalculated how many to bake, and so I have them in abundance! Normally, these are $6/ea. If you pre-order 6, pay only $30 and get one free. Before you ask, yes, you can absolutely order 3 of each. 😊

Lastly, about pre-ordering. If you pre-order, cinnamon buns or anything else, I ask that you commit to picking it up at the Grand Forks BC Farmers on Friday and bring cash. As you likely know, gluten free products are very expensive to make, and it’s a loss for me if you don't show up when it could have been sold to someone else.
