Georgetown Fire and Rescue

Georgetown Fire and Rescue serves Georgetown, PEI, with a crew of 21 members. Our fleet includes a pumper, an engine, rescue trucks and a water rescue boat, helping us respond to emergencies on land and water.

As a small community fire department, we’re always working to improve our equipment, but keeping up with replacement costs is a constant financial challenge. Replacing our aging engine would be a major achievement, and this prize would help us work toward that goal.

Maroon Pig-Callum had a blast (although you wouldn't know it from the photos lol) playing with the Avema Team in the Moncton SportsDome Private Academy Tournament yesterday. Callum had another great tournament, he was voted MVP for Game 2, Tournament MVP and they won the gold medal. Scored 6 goals, 2 assists in 4 games! It is a pleasure to watch the Avema Teams play. Thanks to coach Mark Caudle for making these opportunities possible. They played like champions. Go Avema!!!
