It is with a heavy heart that we share that Curious Foods Inc. is closing its doors.

What started as a simple idea turned into something far more meaningful. It’s been a wild ride, and we’re grateful for all the love and support through the years. The decision was not an easy one, but we feel like it’s the right time.

To our families, friends, suppliers, retailers, event coordinators, market neighbours, and especially our customers who’ve been on this journey with us, thank you. Your support, encouragement, and loyalty have made this journey what it was.

We’ve made and shared a lot of oatcakes and handpies over the years, and we truly hope they were enjoyed by you all.

Saturday, April 25th was our final day at the Boyce Farmer’s Market.

As we begin to wrap things up, we still have some inventory available and may be able to accommodate a small number of final orders. If you’d like to stock up one last time, please send us a message soon. We’ll be around for a couple more weeks.

🥧 International Pie Day is this Saturday!

There is no better way to celebrate than with a golden flaky handpie.

We will be at our usual stall Fredericton Boyce Farmers' Market this Saturday and would love to see you. Stop by for a hot handpie to enjoy while you stroll the market, or grab a frozen selection to keep your freezer stocked for the week ahead.

Big news for our Moncton friends.

Curious Foods handpies have officially landed at MacArthur's Nurseries Inc.

That means if you've been craving one of our golden flaky handpies but didn't feel like making the drive to Fredericton, you're in luck.

You can now find them in the freezer at MacArthur’s ready to bring home for an easy meal or satisfying snack.

Flavours currently available include Atlantic Donair, BBQ Pork with Mac&Cheese, Breakfast, Cheeseburger, Chicken Pot Pie and our vegan Indian Makhani.

Next time you stop by MacArthur’s for plants, gifts, or a browse through the shop, grab a handpie or two while you are there.

What a day at Kouchibouguac National Park, Parks Canada

There is something special about gathering in the woods, pulling up a bright red chair, and warming up with a golden flaky handpie fresh from the oven. Watching people take that first bite of Steak, Ale and Cheese or BBQ Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese never gets old.

This is exactly why we built the Curious Foods food truck.
To bring comfort and a little curiosity to events all across New Brunswick.

And guess what

We are just getting started.

This summer our truck will be rolling across the province popping up at festivals, markets, community days, breweries, fairs and wherever great people gather.
