As in life, chapters close so that one can turn a page a start afresh.

While my doors of Chess Piece may have closed, my love of cooking has never faded, but in fact it has only continued to grow. Most people know me for my sweet treats, I was not as well known for my savory side and I can't wait to share this news.

Often, we work silently behind a veil on our next life's passion, and I'm getting closer to the next chapter I get the honor and privilege to share with you.

Keys are an integral piece to light the spark of life. With these keys, it's gonna unlock a whole world of possibilities that's gonna blow the socks off you.

Spencer asked to be involved today and how could anyone say no to that face🐶.

You may just be greeted by this sweet boi today, on this our last day. So if you feel like you can shake your b***y as good as him, come on and grab a free coffee with your sweets. We'll be here till 3 pm for a dance, pet and a hug to wish us well.

In all honestly Fredericton, it has been a slice serving you all these years. You helped fuel a little girl's dream she had ever since she was 6 years old, and that's something that can never be taken away despite the end of this chapter, it is not the end of the book.

It is with bittersweet hearts that we at Chess Piece Patisserie announce our last day of operation will be next Friday, April 24th. Fredericton, we want to just take this time to thank you, our ahmazing patrons for the years of sweet love.

So before we close for good and allow the new owners to take over the space with a new vision, we invite you to come grab a dessert and coffee with us.
