A bittersweet day at Neighbourly Coffee 💛

Sophie has been with us since day one. She helped build this kitchen from the ground up!

For over two years she's poured her heart into every plate, every team member, and every detail that makes Neighbourly Coffee feel like home.

She's heading back to Winnipeg to be closer to her family, and while we are so happy for her, we are going to miss her more than words.

Sophie, thank you for everything. For your love, your leadership, and for putting your whole heart into this place. You've left your mark on Fredericton, and on every one of us. 💛

Our new feature created by our chef Colton! It's a breakfast Quesadilla with red pepper, red onion, egg with 3 cheese mix and a little bit of hot sauce. Garden salsa (Roman tomato, red onion, lime, salt and black pepper) and Sour cream on the side with chilli powder garnish.

Our first ever tasting event... 21 seats all sold out! I was nervous at first but when I was standing there watching people taste, ask questions, actually care about what's in their cup.. it made me genuinely so so happy, I've never really been the coffee type but I got to learn so much about coffee just being around people who enjoy it inspired me ❤️

We partnered with the Bryce from Epoch for this one and he was just absolutely incredible! The whole weekend was full of learning, training, and just good energy all around. Even the kitchen team came through with some amazing food and made the whole experience feel complete.

We already have two more dates locked in and we cant wait to share them with you soon! But if you were there, thank you. Really. And if you missed it, we are working on making more of these kinds of events happen 😉

Big thank you to Bryce, Misa, Jordan, Sydney, Zane and the rest of the team for making this happen.

You dont need to go to ikea, you can come to us and try Chris's delicious Sourdough Swedish Cinnamon Knot every Saturday.

The Sourdough is fluffy, perfectly sweet and balanced. The spice from the Cinnamon and the the sweetness from the coarse sugar together within the intricate layers balance everything out.

If you are a cinnaholic then this is the perfect morning coffee companion, it sells out very fast so come and get it while it lasts fresh in the morning

Iryna made two special buns this weekend and I have to talk about them.

The Snail puff pastry, custard, raisins, and a brush of apricot syrup on top. They came out so good today. Like, genuinely one of those batches where you just stand back and smile. Come see them in person, they're gorgeous!!

And then there's this croissant-brioche bun with a poppy seed and nut filling. I don't even know how to fully describe it... it's rich, it's a little unexpected, and honestly it might be the most delicious thing she made so far. She is really proud of this one.

Both in the case every weekend. Come try them. 🤍
