Haven't baked in a while, they still turned out great.

On the plus side I did get approved for my 2nd heart transplant.

This is a great company that now has to close due to corporate greed. This is the world we want?? Our friends and families losing business so faceless corporations can continue to extort our labour and resources for thr benefit of very few?

We messed up somewhere and we need to fix it and quick.

To all my amazing customers. This week I had to make the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. After 9 years in business (7 in our retail store) we have no choice but to close our doors. I am beyond emotional and sad as well as a mixed bag of emotions over the whole thing. I would have done a Facebook live but I don’t think I would have been able to last through it 😭 The biggest part of me though feels like I’ve failed every single one of our amazing customers 😔. Over the last 9 months we have had a continuous decrease in sales along with increases from our suppliers and shipping costs , and the price inflation with just the cost of living, rent and expenses in general. We could just not sustain our day to day operations any longer.
Those of you who know me quite well know that I am very passionate about what I do and that I don’t take this decision lightly. As a business owner I have tried everything possible within my power and financials to keep this business going and my employees in their roles.
Please understand if I am slow to respond to msgs over the new few weeks. I have a lot to process and deal with on the back end of things but if you continue to follow the page I will update everyone there with anything important.
I want to take this time to thank my AMAZING staff for all their hard work and dedication over the last 7 years. They are an amazing group of ladies who have just as much passion as I do for this place. I could not have done any of this without them.
Thank you to all our customers who shopped with us and took workshops and classes and supported us through so many things. It’s been truly a rollercoaster but I’ve enjoyed every minute.
To everyone who reads this PLEASE SUPPORT OUR LOCAL BUSINESSES!!!! We are all struggling right now with these massive changes. I know Amazon or online can sometimes be cheaper but please please please if you can manage support the small businesses that make up this great city. I know they all need it right now!
