Hey everyone! It is with heavy heart that I close the Jazz'd Desserts page! The District of Elkford requires all business (which I don't consider myself to be but 🤷🏻‍♀️) to have a business licence to sell anything out of their home. This business licence comes with an automatic referral to interior health and interior health plainly on their website says they don't generally let home kitchens run! So because of this I'm having to close down the page! Jazz'd Desserts has been something to help me keep my sanity while raising 2 little girls, and the hoops I would have to jump through to keep going takes the fun and joy out of it! If anyone has any questions feel free to inbox me:) and if you have a complaint take it to the District of Elkford because mums selling baked good out of their home shouldn't be this much of an issue! But do keep your eyes out for the next thing coming from me (which will be totally above board on district terms)

Birthday weekend over here, my youngest turned one so of course we had a smash cake and cupcakes. The cupcakes where chocolate filled with whipped chocolate ganache and topped with cookies and cream buttercream! I like that my kids give me an excuse to try new cake things :)

Busy weekend for me 4 orders which was 5 cakes (one not pictured). Which consisted of a hockey jersey and a wedding cake! When I get a picture of the wedding cake decorated with fake flowers I will post it because I saw a sneak peak and it was gorgeous!! Hope everyone enjoys the sunshine this week :)

It's my daughter's birthday today! She asked for a princess and dinosaur cake, I had grand ideas but they just didn't pan out for the princess side so I had to compromise last night at 10pm with just having a dinosaur cake! Complete with waterfall :) I think I had one happy customer

Today is kind of the anniversary when my crazy cake/cup cake/ icecream adventure began!

Little 19 year old Jaz freshly engaged went on the search of a Baker/ Bakery to make her a wedding cake! Only to find everyone wanted her soul in return ( meaning they wanted $1000 for something simple). Not having any of it Jaz who had never been a big Baker, but had enjoyed it from time to time set out to make her own wedding cake and cupcakes .. she practiced all sorts of techniques until she was pretty confident she could do it... Her mum refused to let her do the cake (with good reason I wasn't very good) but she Did make 100+ cupcakes the day before she said I do!

And so today my 6th wedding anniversary also marks the start of Jazz'd Desserts :) Z
