She specializes in all types of baking; sweet, savory, and even Gluten Free! I am a diploma graduate from the Culinary Institute within the Art Institute of Vancouver in beautiful, British Columbia. Now that I have some new followers and much time has passed since the first introduction; allow me to reintroduce myself.

Hello! 👋🏻 My name is Kasia Santos and I am the owner of this small business, As Easy As Pie Confections. 🥰 This is a business I created with the goal of sharing my love and passion for making, sharing, and eating treats.

Many of my most treasured memories involve the kitchen and food. For my family, food is culturally important as well as socially important. Major milestones are celebrated with food. Company coming means there must be food. Food is medicine. Food is a gift. Food is conversation. Food is love. Creating dishes with your own hands and sharing with people you love is a treasured language.

Because it is a part of my soul, I decided that I needed to hone in on this love of cooking and baking and go to culinary school. What a wonderful, challenging, inspiring experience. I learned so much about food and also myself and the world. I took this knowledge and got to work. I’ve had several wonderful, challenging, and inspiring work experiences. Competitions, catering, events big and small, hotels, and local bakeries are all written in my story. And all the while, behind the scenes, I’ve been working away at home, not only building my own little family, but building a little business based on passion and love.

As Easy As Pie Confections is a woman owned, home based bakery business that focuses on sweet and savory baked goods for any occasion. I strive to bring a taste of nostalgia, like your grandmas baking, while also adding my own flair to the products. Pretty looking baked goods are fun, but genuinely tasty treats are where it’s at.
