So guys, I’m coming here to report abuse. I have been having serious issues with the canteen lady at the Calahoo arena in Calahoo, Alberta. My son trains out of that arena on Saturdays. I have been ignoring her, I have been reporting on her behaviours to the parents on the hockey team but it’s only getting worst. Just yesterday she was verbally abusive towards me in front of my kids. I have watched her interactions and see that there is a difference on how she engages with different ppl. Her behaviour is now increasing/escalating in aggressive forms. It’s like she’s not stopping.

My son would like to continue to train, I’m actually now scared for my safety and his. Like bro she is a Karen.

I don’t play about my hockey, I deserve peace, equal treatment, free from Harrassment while enjoying hockey.

Guys the situation in Jamaica is NOT going well. Lots of people are still displaced, the government is doing little to nothing to assist in same.

Not sure where to start here but this trophy is not just for Tj, it’s for the entire hockey community because that’s what it takes to build a hockey player. So to all those that helped out with scheduling, dropping off and picking up, early mornings, late nights, loooooonnngggggg hours of driving, multiple camps, literally no summer breaks, taking time off work just so you can go to practice ( thanks to leadership for giving me the time off ). The list goes onnnnnn.

Thanks to all the camps that train Tj up until this point as it was strategic and it was to get to this level and we did it.

This holds truth about hockey :
1. It is not racist, never once was, never will be ( just play )
2. Hockey does accept all ( just come play )
3. Take it from me….. hockey is NOT expensive.
4. Hockey is LIFE!!!!

Thanks again to the entire hockey community and to those that helped, this trophy is for us all.

Y’all it’s Dec 1st, 2023, the last month of the year and we here at Swabys Kitchen would like to thank each and everyone of y’all for supporting us in 2023😀👏.
