I may be out of commission for a bit but that didn't stop Jackie, our incredibly talented Pastry Chef, for working her magic and creating beautiful cupakes and a wedding cake for a special bride today :-)

Good Monday Morning !!!!
I wanted to reach out to thank all of you for your calls, texts, cards, flowers, meaningful gifts and most especially for your HUGS and PRAYERS !!
The goods news is that the surgery itself was a success and they were able to remove the tumor, leaving everything else intact :-)
I am now off pain medications and am feeling better every day.
There are no words to say thank you to Eleanor who stayed with me, looking after everything I needed until I was ready to stay on my own. (an incredibly thoughtful, patient, and caring nurse and my cherished Sister)
Every day I am getting stronger and now await word back in the next few weeks from the surgeon as to his plans on the next steps required. In the meantime my focus is on rest and my full recovery!

Good Morning and Happy Saturday :-)
~~~ Today is the last day that I will be open (but only for a while as I recoup from my upcoming surgery this week)
~~~ I am at the shop early prepping for a few Catering Orders and then I will be baking pies (Apple and Rhubarb Strawberry)
~~~ Plan to drop by this afternoon and pickup a warm out of the oven PIE to enjoy while we are closed :-)

Dear Customers ..... As you may have heard, I will be undergoing surgery early in June and will be off my feet for a period of time.
Therefore we will be closing the shop 'temporarily' while I recover.
((The Shop Will Be Closed Effective June 1st and We Will Post Out Once We Know When We Are Able To Reopen))
~~~ In the meantime, I need to reduce our inventory :-)
Starting Today (May 22nd) we will be TAX FREE Throughout the Shop, with SPOTLIGHT SALES of 20-25% Off Selected Products :-)
And make plans to drop by and check out the deals you will find on our SATURDAY SIDE WALK SALE !!!
