Getting ready for my final workshop of the school year with .warmlandartsacademy
This week, we are talking all about sugars, healthy energy and snacks.
As part of the day we will be comparing sugar content in store bought drinks. Measuring out the white sugar so we can actually see how much sugar content the drinks really have.
Then we will make our own Mocktails! Healthy hydration to keep these athletic students feeling at their best.
The student will create their own signature beverage - Using natural colours like spirulina, beet root powder and dehydrated strawberries. And naturally fermented kombucha, tart cherry juice, coconut water and carbonated spring. Fresh citrus too!
Other fun activities include - Can you guess what is hidden in my cookies and brownies (🫘☺️) and making edible chickpea cookie dough together.
