Location: Drayton Valley, AB
Position: Part-Time Evening Customer Service Associate
Maternity Contract 5-6 months with the possibility of extension
Starting Wage: ($15.00 to $16.50)/hour depending on education and experience
About Us:
Drayton Valley Bakery and Cafe is a beloved local establishment dedicated to providing high-quality baked goods and exceptional customer service. We pride ourselves on our warm atmosphere and commitment to our community.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage customers and filling orders
• Running point of sales system and merchant payment terminals
• Making drinks such as smoothies, hot chocolates, teas, protein shakes, and Italian espresso drinks
• Cleaning and dish washing as required
• End of day cleanup and shutdown tasks
• Cash out and work with money
Schedule:
• Monday to Friday: 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM (25-35 hours per week)
Qualifications:
• Must be a local resident of Drayton Valley or surrounding area for at least 5 years
• Foreign applicants must have a minimum TOEFL score of 24 (Reading), 20 (Listening), 25 (Speaking), and 22 (Writing), with an overall score of 91/120
• Positive attitude and team player mentality
• Ability to get along well with others
• Ability to interact with customers
• Must have high school diploma minimum
• Must not be a student actively enrolled in primary or post secondary education unless food related
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to perform mental math, and work with money
• Ability to learn new tasks and work in an ever-changing environment
