Chocolate chip muffins ✨ I like complex baking…I enjoy the bakes that have so many different flavours, components and speciality ingredients, but I love those bakes that only ask for a mixing bowl, a wooden spoon and basic ingredients you always have on hand. The humble muffin is one of those. These are a joy to make and leave your home smelling warm and comforting - perfect for kids coming home off the bus.

Save the date!! Next Saturday, September 10 be sure to come out to Dorchester and hit up BridgeFest - one of our town’s best events. Honeybee will be there along with over 50 vendors, food trucks and live music. The event runs from 12-8, and the sooner you get there, the better 😉 We sold out within hours last time, and while we are making way more this year, I can’t guarantee how long it will last. Bring your friends and family, I can’t wait to see you there!!

So excited to share with you all that we are expecting come February 2023!

The thrill of sharing this announcement is also coupled with some sadness about sharing another one: we have decided to close Honeybee’s weekly orders for the time being to focus on our family.

I will still be at BridgeFest and hope to make an appearance at other markets, festivals and events in the future, but again, weekly Friday orders will be stopping.

Thank you all for your support and your love for Honeybee! And thank you in advance for your support as I take this time to focus on looking after my family, our young kids, and my self!

June is extra special because it’s Honeybee’s birthday month - Honeybee is turning one year old, and I thought, what better anniversary menu than one that features all of the top sellers from this past year! Mother’s Day may be over, but I’m pretty sure mom could still use a coffee break, am I right? 😅 There’s been lots of love for these cookies - the “Mom Needs a Coffee Break Cookie” (also lots of love for its name - I see you, moms 😉) - made with classic cookie dough, stuffed full of dark chocolate chunks and Coffee Crisp bars, finished off with a white chocolate espresso drizzle.. what’s not to love? Other than a coffee to pair with it, of course.

There’s still time to get your orders in for Friday! Online ordering will close when stock runs out or at 8pm on Wednesday!

Good Morning! ☀️ How amazing has this warm weather been? It’s brought life to my soul 😂 Also bringing lots of joy - this wildberry pocket pastry. Not only are the sprinkles beautiful to look at, the burst of berry that comes from these pocket pastries is next level, if you ask me. My family and I shared some this past weekend, outside and in the sunshine - the best place to eat a pocket pastry, in my opinion! 😉

Let’s all just ignore the gloomy weather outside and imagine it’s bright and sunny and WARM. Kind of like these citrus scones 😉 There are still lots of scones available for this Friday - just in time for Mother’s Day!

FYI - if you don’t want to eat your scones until Sunday morning so you can *cough* pretend you made these from scratch all by yourself for mom (no judgement), just pop them in the freezer, take them out Sunday morning and put them in the oven at 350 until warm. They’re fresh, buttery and delicious, perfectly paired with tea…maybe a little bit of raspberry jam if you want. Maybe some extra butter. Like I said, no judgement.

Mom will likely tell you they’re best served to her in bed with coffee, and really, who are we to argue.

One of the most exciting things to hit the menu this month - the blueberry cream cheese roll ✨ I’ve been wanting to do a roll since the beginning of Honeybee…and this month seemed the perfect time to do so! Yeast dough filled with a jammy blueberry filling and smothered with a cream cheese frosting. The best part? It comes in its own mini pie tin, perfect for sharing (or not) 😉
