We had a great float flying session yesterday afternoon, with 10 pilots attending. Weather was great with light winds. One of our pilot, decided that landing on water was to simple, and decided to land in a tree instead, Another first for this year! As usual, some recoveries were required but nothing serious. The Chef, Angie, outdid herself with the BBQ, with both hamburgers and sausage as well as other participants who brought in muffins, cake, banana bread and others. It is to wonder if participants come to fly or eat.

We have one activity planned for the year, its on the 31 October, in the morning, with Potluck and costume, stand by for details.

We had our end of July float fly on Saturday the 25th, the morning started well, with a whopping 17 pilots attending. It was a day of firsts, we did a lot more recoveries than usual, at one point, 4 airplanes needed to be recovered in one outing, we also lost an airplane, we could not find it…. Unfortunately, the wind picked up just around lunch time, however, Angie was ready with the BBQ with a mix of burgers, sausage and hot dogs, with other peoples bringing cookies, muffins, apple squares etc. Overall, A great day ! P.S. more pictures to follow
