Completed my largest single order the other day! All freshly baked the day of delivery.

150 Swedish sausage filled turnovers
50 Swedish sausage filled croissants
Some with cheese and some without.

A savory twist on the turnovers and croissants which turned out delicious, especially when dipped in some mustard. 🤤

Why 'ELM Street Bakery '?

Yes, I am aware that many will immediately think of links to the movies Nightmare on Elm Street, among other things when they hear/read the name so I figured I should give a little bit of insight as to why I chose that name.

I chose this name because my daughter's initials are E L M. She is my driving force. She has given me the strength to step further out of my comfort zone and a steadfast reason to work towards building something that not only I can be proud of but something that hopefully one day she can be proud of too. Using her initials I will have a constant reminder of why and who I am working so hard for. When I am tired. When I am faced with setbacks. When I make mistakes. *When I succeed.* SHE is my why. I want to create. I want to show my daughter she can achieve her dreams. I want to share my passion and craft with people.

Elm trees were also associated with elves and faeries in Celtic folklore. They were thought to grow close to passages to other worlds. They were also thought to be healing trees with femanine energy and enormous strength. As well as being linked with spiritual qualities for defence and protection, especially of family.

So all in all; I love my daughter, I love faeries and I love making people happy with food. I hope to bring people together with great quality, handmade, products that they will truly enjoy and want to share with their loved ones. 💖

I like to keep in contact with those who order on the day of baking to give you timeline updates so you have the opportunity to pick them up as fresh from the oven as possible. I want to give you the chance to try them while they're still warm from the oven. Fresh is best 💖

Almond Rose cookies with vanilla icing, finished with crushed pistachios, chopped cranberries and rose petals.

3 layer Earl grey cake with strawberry fillings, strawberry german buttercream, finished with hand piped chocolate hearts and strawberries.

Would anybody be interested in buying some beautiful Grade A Vanilla Planifolia beans from Papua New Guinea? These are the same strain typically grown in Madagascar.
They are about 5-6" long, plump and aromatic.

In the busy world we live in, it's hard for us to find time to do it all. ELM Street Bakery is dedicated to supplying you with the high quality, handmade and freshly baked items that you and your family desire. My aim is to make your taste buds dance, your belly full and your soul content.

My name is Jade. I have loved baking (and eating😉) for as long as I can remember. Some of my favorite childhood memories involve baking with my mother. These days I spend my time at home, taking care of my daughter while I test recipes and fill orders. I am building my recipe index and working hard to establish a good customer base in hopes to one day open a storefront bakery.

I have nearly 10 years experience in the restaurant and food service industry. I have Professional Cook Level 1 as well as Foodsafe Level 1 certifications.

I will be posting some of my items, pricing and photos in the coming weeks. I am open to doing custom orders so if you have a craving, don't hesitate to reach out and I will do my best to bring it to life. 💖
