❤️ In Memory of Carlos ❤️

I was truly honoured to create this special crochet chihuahua for a young girl who has been grieving the loss of her beloved best friend. This guy was made with so much love and care to help honour his memory and hopefully bring her some comfort during this difficult time.

He’s made with thick, snuggly blanket yarn and stands approximately 16” tall and 14” long. His limbs are fully poseable so he can sit nicely or get into playful positions.

I’m so grateful to have used the beautifully detailed 35-page pattern by ami_amor6.

Carlos will forever have a special place in her heart — and now in this sweet keepsake too. 🐾

🧶✨ Just finished taking pics of my Highland Cow that I crocheted a whole year ago! 😅

I finally got around to taking proper photos of him recently, and wow — he turned out even better than I remembered!

This guy was made from a very detailed 46-page pattern (thank goodness it had tons of pictures!). It was definitely a labour of love, but so worth it. The final piece is nicely structured and cuddly — honestly, the photos don’t do him full justice!
The perfect finishing touch was this adorable cow bell I got from Amazon. It makes him look so authentic and Scottish! 🐮🛎️

Highland cows have such personality, don’t they? I’m so happy with how he turned out.

Back in 2018, my granddaughter asked me to crochet her a stuffed toy. At the time, I was still pretty new to crochet and honestly didn’t feel confident enough to take something like that on… but she wasn’t taking no for an answer ❤️

Not long after, Domino came to life and joined our family 🐾

He’s a little worse for wear these days (well-loved is what I like to call it!), but that just means he’s been on a lot of adventures. In fact, he even tagged along with her on one of her high school graduation challenges just a month ago — still by her side after all these years.

What started as a project I wasn’t sure I could do turned into something pretty special 💕
