Maple Twist Rolls.

Hear ye, hear ye!!!! 🎺🥁 you should smell my kitchen today!!

A favorite childhood memory is my mom making these for all our lovely Montana neighbors, a tradition handed down from Gram, who made them for her Texas neighbors. As a girl, my mom would sprinkle the butter and cinnamon sugar on, and then cut and twist. Gram rolled them out, baked them, and iced them. And so the tradition carried on. Next it was MY mom doing the rolling & baking, and Iiiiii got to be the helper. Then Dad and I drove around the countryside on Christmas Eve delivering them to neighbor doors, just in time for their breakfast on Christmas Day 💭♥️🥲

Christmas wouldn’t be the same without the smell of Maple Rolls filling up the kitchen and wafting to every corner of the house while snow sits piled outside the windows. ❄️
