If you know me, it was a must with this audio😀👌🏻
Maybe it’s time to stop overthinking and start listening to your heart. 🤎

Sometimes you already know what you want… you just need to give yourself permission to choose it.

And if your heart happens to be saying bread… well, I fully support that decision😀👍🏻

Choose what brings you joy.
Choose what feels right.
Choose the thing you keep coming back to.

Life’s too short not to listen. 🤎😉🌾🥖🍞

As a local baker I am always wanting to improve my loaves and with sourdough u can do almost anything with your dough to make them even better. I visited Sprouted Oven and wanted to find out more about the organic flours they had and they were so helpful - I got to take home some wholesome goodness!
I added Sprouted Red Fife flour for the first time and some wholewheat flour. And I also milled some hard red wheat to add into my classic loaves. I have so much fun milling my own flour, and to be able to now offer them to my locals has been a joy. Thank you Sprouted Oven for the opportunity to use these in my bakery!
Stay tuned for the bakes of these loaves which I’ll share with you🥰♥️🫶🏻🌾

Two years ago this month, I took a leap and tried open baking for the very first time.
I had been gifted my baking steel for about a month which I’m so grateful for, before I finally worked up the nerve to use it. 😂 I was nervous, I had no idea what I was doing, and I definitely didn’t expect my very first two loaves to turn out as beautifully as they did.

But looking back at this video now, I think the biggest thing I see isn’t the bread.

It’s the fact that I finally just tried.

Sometimes we wait because we think we need more experience, more knowledge, better equipment, or more confidence before we begin. But you don’t always get the confidence first. Sometimes you get it by doing the thing you’re afraid to try.

So if you’ve been thinking about trying open baking, changing your process, or taking that next step with your bread…

Take the leap♥️

You might surprise yourself with how far you can go. And two years later, I’m still learning, still experimenting, and still so grateful I decided to try, which lead me to today.
If you have any questions on open baking, drop them below ⬇️ I have tried many ways to provide the steam which is key for a successful open bake.
