Most people call it Osler Castle, but its original name was Kionontio, meaning “Top of the Hill.” Built in 1893 by lawyer Britton Bath Osler for his wife Caroline, the grand stone mansion featured 15 rooms, stained glass windows, and even a private deer park earning it the nickname “Deer Park.”

Today, its mysterious ruins remain one of the area’s most photographed historic landmarks.
